Wondering About OS Upgrades?

So you've seen that Apple has recently released its Snow Leopard update and Microsoft will soon be releasing its much anticipated Windows 7. If you're thinking of upgrading, we advise to think again.

We are still seeing reports coming in regarding the Snow Leopard upgrade issues with FileMaker® and would advise to upgrade with caution. My feeling is that it's not quite ready for prime time.

The big new release for Windows 7 is due out Oct. 22nd and we are watching the online lists, user groups and message boards to learn what issues there may be in regards to compatibility with FileMaker®. We will keep you posted.

For new releases, it's always safe to say 'wait until the dust settles' to upgrade.
